The entire "Motherlode" album sessions were recorded--and was slated for a Cassette-Album issue--in 1985, but was left to sit because I felt it didn't fit with the first two Cassette-Albums of that year ("The Ice Age" and "Edge Of A Dream").

One Song from the original album session, "Black Magicians' Holiday", DID see an Internet Premiere in 2006 when I uploaded it to SoundClick, while ANOTHER Song was removed from this album, and sent to "Edge Of A Dream" ("The Strange, The Freaky, The Bizarre And The Weird")--ITSELF supplanting an Spoken-Word song that was deleted from THAT Album. By the same token, Two Other Tracks from these sessions were BOTH re-recorded later in 1990 (and issued as Cassette-Singles for BOTH Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra, AND, OSMOSIS).

The spaced-out electro-sounding "Motherlode" is what you get when you plug a Large-Model CASIO Keyboard/Synthesizer DIRECTLY INTO THE "Mic-IN" Jack of a Wollensack (tm) Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorder with the Input Monitor up to 8, thereby purposely distorting the sound.

Said "Distorted Sound" was hard to re-equalize and safely convert to Digital without too much loss, and that is why I let the bulk of the project sit for close to 4 Decades. UNTIL 3 Years Ago (2017), when I got a little better in the "Analog-to-Digital Transfer" skills.
