This is basically an album of songs that didn't make the cut for either a Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra or OSMOSIS album. All the songs here were recorded between 2001 and 2010.

There's about 4 tracks hat were originally slated to be a part of the "2087-UNITED PLANETARY FUNK" concept album by Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra:

"Bad Girls", "Good Morning, Monument City", "Invasion", and a new version of "I Won't Tell You What To Do"--

...and, it was trying to make those songs fit that caused what was supposed to be a 2007 Album Issue to sit for close to a decade, only to be released "incomplete" in 2014.

(Although, ONE TRACK DID SEE A "RELEASE--via a collab-effort. "Good Morning, Monument City" became the backing track for the OSMOSIS / OSMODELIC song "Tech-Nose" in 2014.)

Also, 4 more tracks--"Paparazzi", "Sharing Drinks With A Butterfly Fairy", "Techno-Space Funk" and "The 3-G (Gorilla Guerilla Groove)"-- were slated for the Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra album "PsycheCosmicFunkeDelix", but were deleted at the last moment, in 2009 (forcing that album to come out in 2015 in a form totally altered from what was posted on Soundclick in 2009). And out of those 4, "The 3-G" ALMOST made it on THAT ALBUM...almost.

That leaves the remaining 4 songs: "The SPACEMAN'S Entrance", "Da Bomb (An Organization Of Chaos)", the original Title Song for THIS Project when it was proposed in 2010 ("Do NOT Try This At Home!!..."), and "Don't Give A Funk"--which originally was posted on Soundclick, in raw demo-form, as "Metaloid" way back in 2010. Of these 4, ONLY "The SPACEMAN'S Entrance" and "Do NOT Try This At Home!!..." represent the proposed original 2010 configuration of this album.

Looking back on these tracks (some of them re-furbished and 'amped-up' within the past 4-5 years), it's kinda like a time capsule. Almost like saying, "Man, was that me, at the time?"

Nonetheless, I'm finally issuing the instrumentals just to get them out there (making this my first, all instrumental release)--but, at the same token, keeping these same versions in consideration for possible vocals in the near future.

So, enjoy these "floor clippings".
