The most (in)famous version of this song is the OSMOSIS version from 1990's "The FCC Can't Run With Us!!" album...complete with YouTube Video.
BUT, THIS IS THE RAW, LOWDOWN, STRIPPED TO THE BUTT-NAKED BASS ORIGINAL 1985 VERSION.
And, yes, it was planned as a cassette-single (with "The Strange, The Freaky, The Bizarre and The Weird!!" for the B-Side.).
What I did for the 1990 Version was made it musically brighter, a bit longer, more "dance-like" (HA!!), and made the vocals totally insane (as opposed to the "back-alley thug vocals" of this original version). Needless to say, that 1990 Version anchored that first OSMOSIS Album, and my reputation under the OSMOSIS-banner.
