Universal Love (Space Opus II)

from GIT WEIRD!! by Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra

/

about

It's sub-title is "SPACE OPUS II", but "UNIVERSAL LOVE"'s original Pipe-Organ/Drum foundation track is the OLDEST THING ON THE WHOLE ALBUM (we're talking MARCH 1985!!). The other layers and embellishments (the orchestration, chimes, etc.) were all added in 1988--in divided-track stereo, so as not to bury and destroy the original song underneath. THE RESULT: Prog/Funk/Space/Rock. Done on a pair of Casios, and a couple of Yamahas. PROVING that there is No Such Thing As A Cheap Instrument--it's all a matter of taking the time to master them to sound like expensive instruments. You know: Use What You Got To WOW Folks.
