First off, "Testimonial" is spelt WRONG--but I left it as is (been spelt that way for close to 22 years--sorry). Second, this song was originally told from the POV of a Yuppie Executive who thought he was some hot shit (and yes, all you whiney kids born after the fact--The Yuppies were LIKE THAT during the Reagan Era..status-hungry BASTARDS!). Song caught a SECOND WIND during the 2nd Bush Era on the web (where it actually OFFENDED some folks!! HA!). NOW, it can be the perfect song for the perfect asshole--currently the 45th President. (WHO was super big during the Reagan Era, as well!) "Testimonial (A Day In The Life Of An All-American Bastard)" was one of 4 OSMOSIS songs recorded in 1996, but were compiled--along with two earlier 1990s tracks--to fill out the "final" (at the time) OSMOSIS Cassette-Album, "Funk And Circumstances", in August 1999.

As funny as it seems, this "final" OSMOSIS album was the FIRST Ever Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra / OSMOSIS material POSTED to the Internet (MySpace.com and Broadjam.com), in 1995.

And, I just took it from there.
